Sage is a perennial, evergreen plant that is native to Eastern Australia.

Sage is a wonderful herb that can add rich flavour to cooking. Being a shrub within the mint family, Sage has a flavour "that is earthy, slightly peppery taste with hints of mint, eucalyptus, and lemon".

Small and drought-tolerant, Sage is very easy to grow and can be bought at most nurseries. Sage is best planted in Spring.
